SIGNED MUHAMMAD BAQI AND DIYA' AL-ZAMAN, QAJAR IRAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Each of rectangular shape, one with rounded ends and sliding tray, the gilt and polychrome lacquered decoration with swirling grape vine and floral blooms, boredered by bands of floral medallions and scrolling leaves on green and red grounds, signed Muhammad Baqi, the other with straight edges and separate cover with gilt laquered decoration of scrolling arabesques and floral medallions, underside with birds and floral blooms represented, on green and brown grounds, signed Diya' al-Zaman some wear to edges on both
