LATE 17TH CENTURY
Of slightly compressed rounded form, applied with a pair of stylised fish handles, the globular body engraved with butterflies amidst various blooms on leafy branches, above a band of quatrelobed flowers on the slightly flared neck, below a ruyi-head border encircling the footrim, the concave base with a Xuande mark
4 3/8 in. (11.2 cm.) diam.
