The hero depicted nude, his left leg advanced, the knee bent, his right arm raised and bent acutely at the elbow, perhaps originally holding his club through a perforation in the hand (now filled), his left arm lowered and extended outward, his lionskin draped over his forearm, another attribute once gripped in his left hand, his hair with vertical ridges framing his face; some traces of gilding preserved
