A GERMAN GILT BRASS-MOUNTED ENAMEL SNUFF-BOX
CIRCA 1757
Decorated overall with trompe l'oeuil scenes and inscriptions, the inside of the lid depicting King Frederick the Great
9 cm. wide
Together with a German gilt brass-mounted enamel snuff-box, circa 1756, the lid decorated with sheet music and text; the base with a trompe l'oeil decoration and date 1756 - 9 cm. wide; and an English gilt brass-mounted enamel snuff-box, Battersea or Staffordshire, second half 18th Century, the lid decorated with the myth of Perseus and Andromeda - 7.5 cm.
