A GERMAN SILVER-MOUNTED CARVED BOXWOOD SNUFF-BOX
THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
The sides carved with town scenes framed by rocailles, the lid carved with Saints Matthew and Luke
9.2 cm. wide
Together with a silver-mounted carved boxwood pipe end, probably German, second half 18th Century, carved with Masonic symbols - 11.5 cm.; and a circular Karelian birch snuff-box, the lid carved with a woven pattern, early 19th Century - 9 cm. diam. (3)
