Of bottle shape, the sides lobed from the flat foot to the flat rim, the corners indented, with recessed circular base, the ivory of warm tone

A vase of this type dated 18th century is illustrated in Chinese Ivories from Shang to the Qing, London, Oriental Ceramic Society, The British Museum, 1984, p. 165, no. 210.
