KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
Fashioned from the body of a juban ping, the neck now missing, covered with a finely mottled glaze of deep, soft crushed strawberry- red color shading to mushroom on a small area of the shoulder, on most of the molded chrysanthemum petal band, and in a line around the slightly rounded foot ring
4½ in. (11.5 cm.) high
