A COPPER-RED-DECORATED DOUBLE-GOURD VASE
18TH CENTURY
The bulbous body painted with a wide band of leafy lotus scroll set between a band of overlapping petals below and a ruyi border above, with a band of classic scroll encircling the waist and peony scroll on the upper body that tapers towards bands of pendent trefoils and key fret just below the rim, all in soft shades of crushed-strawberry red
13 in. (33 cm.) high
