The piriform body on disc foot, long neck and everted rim, with applied turquoise glass zigzag trails down sides of body, twin looped handles, collar around neck and trail under rim, with iridescence

Lot Essay

This type of footed amphora is well recorded from 5th century A.D. sites along the Syro-Palestine coast.
