Another almost identical container with blue trailing on pale bluish-green glass is preserved in the Newark Museum of Art, New Jersey, cf. S. H. Auth, Ancient Glass as the Newark Museum, Newark, 1976, p. 146, no. 188, while a further example was found in a 6th century A.D. Byzantine grave in Israel, cf. D. P. Barag, 'A tomb cave of the Byzantine period near Netic Ha Lamed He', Atiqot Hebrew Series 7, 1974, pl. 27.
