Lot Essay

These panels are both signed - one by Muhammad Shafi' and the other by Muhammad Qasim.

Muhammad Shafi' is possibly the Muhammad Shafi' Husayni, a scribe two of whose album pages are in the National Library in Tehran (Mehdi Bayani, Ahval va Asar-e Khosh-Nevisan, Vol. III, Tehran 1346 sh., pp.763-64).

Muhammad Qasim is unrecorded.
