Arabic manuscript on paper, 482ff. plus 2 fly leaves, each with 12ll. of elegant black naskh inside blue and gold rules, with gold and polychrome roundel verse makers and marginal medallions, sura headings in gold muhaqqaq in white cloud on red-striped ground, opening folio with gold and polychrome illuminated shamseh, followed by illuminated bifolium with red inscription cartouches and blue palmettes on gold ground with scrolling flowers, opening sura with illuminated bifolium with gold palmettes and inscription cartouches on blue ground with scrolling gold and polychrome flowering vines and strapwork bands, in later brown morocco binding, excellent condition
