The oval bowl with deep rounded sides carved to the exterior in shallow relief with stylised archaistic dragons and phoenix, one of the elongated sides flanked by a scroll-shaped handle emerging from the mouth of a mythical beast, all supported on a short foot, the stone of a greyish-white tone with speckled darker grey and russet inclusions
