Lot Essay

Phil Collins had the unique distinction of being the only artist to perform at both the Wembley and Philadelphia Live Aid concerts, held on the 13th July 1985. After finishing his performance with Sting in London he flew to America in Concorde to play not only his own set but also with members of Led Zeppelin at the JFK stadium show.
