Château Haut-Brion--Vintage 1987
Pessac (Graves), 1er cru classé

The weather conditions during the spring and the summer were particularly irregular and so was the ripening. There were then exceptionally hot days in September and bad weather duringthe harvest

Tasting note:
Farily well developped after only three years. Aged ten, a quite good colour and characteristic Haut-Brion nose: warm tiles, biscuity and which, like the Mouton, opened up deliciously. Sweet, chewy, agreeable, spicy tobacco flavour, dry finish. I liked it. Last noted June 1997 ***. MB
