with naturalistically shaped spout and handle, the globular body painted in puce with sprays of roses, the mounts 'en rocaille' -- 4½ins (11.5cms.) high, circa 1763-74, the mounts late 19th century German with assay marks (some wear, especially to gilt mounts)
