RARE second edition, with fine woodcuts describing the legends and adventures of Melusina, the main subject of the history. Only 4 copies are recorded in Worldcat: Berlin, Munich, Augsburg and London. The first edition was published in Strasbourg in 1516. Melusina, is a figure of European legends and she is depicted here on the title-page as a woman with two fishtails. VD-16 M-4470.
