Aldine device at end, 3-line initial spaces with guide-letter, with blank l2. Variants include misspelling 'Alaghieri' on a1v and headlines from a2v as 'Inf.'. (Title and quire H partly remargined, a few repairs, small hole in H3 effecting a few letters.) Burgundy morocco blindtooled to a gothic design by Gruel, gilt edges, slipcase. Provenance: inscription washed from title and final verso -- Clemente Barini (17th-century title inscription).
