CIRCA 9TH-7TH CENTURY B.C.
Each cheek-piece cast in the form of a striding horse on a groundline, with a thin muzzle and raised circular eyes, wearing a collar with a bell around its neck, two rings on the back of each for attachment, a large circular perforation at the center for the thick bit, round in section with coiled ends; mounted on a lucite stand, designed by William "Billy" Haines in the 1950s
