The hoop formed from three plain wires, each outer wire coiled into volutes where they join edge of the flanged oval bezel, the central wire ornamented with granules along its length, the bezel set with a convex oval stone, engraved with Eros riding a dolphin, the nude god with his wings raised, his head turned out, holding the reins, the dolphin with its tail upraised, the wavy sea indicated by undulating striations
7/8 in. (2.2 cm.) wide
