The rectangular shelf above an egg-and-dart moulding, the frieze with C-scrolls and foliage in high relief, the inner moulding and 'dog-leg' jambs with further egg-and-dart

The 'dog-leg' jamb features from at least 1739, in William Jones's Gentleman or Builder's Companion, and later in Abraham Swan's The British Architect of 1745.
