The frieze with musical putti amidst billowing clouds and floral swags, the outset jambs as tapering caryatid Herm busts in the Grecian manner

Lot Essay

The frieze celebrating music with eight winged putti playing musical instruments on swirling clouds surrounded with swags of flowers. It is flanked on either side by masks symbolising night and day.
