Deep, rich, expansive fruit offering intriguing notes of wonderfully rich Vosne spice and packed flavors displaying solid structure and ripeness. Rich, long and quite tannic at this point though the tannins are round and there is no evidence of any astringency. The pieces are all in place for a long, slow evolution and if this can develop additional complexity over time, my score may be conservative. Tasted: Jan 01, 2004 ALLEN MEADOWS
