LATE 19TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, PRESSNUMMERN 133 AND 140, CS MONOGRAM AND IMPRESSED 99, PAINTER'S PUCE 13. MARK
Painted in a pale palette of apricot, green, pink, claret, yellow and brown, the cover with gilt berried acanthus finial and leafy terminal, the vase moulded with bearded mask terminals issuing reeded gilt scroll handles above mask and petal medallions suspending ribbon-tied fruiting vine below oval rosettes and swags, the lower part leaf-moulded, on a gadrooned socle and Key-pattern square plinth, three corners of the base restored with gilding refreshed, minute rubbing to gilding
