A thangka of Red Chakrasamvara mandala
Tibet, circa 1800
Red Chakrasamvara striding in alidhasana on a lotus base holding various weapons in his radiating hands, adorned with a garland of skulls and wearing a diadem, all within a lotus blossom supporting six retinue figures, surrounded by multicolored palace walls guarded by animal-headed gatekeepers and the Four Direction deities at the corners, all within a spherical multibanded lotus blossom, with the Drugpa Kagyu lineage of teachers at the top and various deities and a possible donor figure at the bottom
