Depicting a lady running her hands through her hair and observing herself in the mirror held up by an attendant, two further female attendants on either side, one with a rosewater sprinkler and the second holding a sitar, the group seated on a floral carpet on a terrace with a white balustrade beneath a canopy gently ruffling in the wind, with elegant red flowers in the foreground and large trees with a high hill in the background, bordered by gold and polychromed margins with Persian verses in nasta'liq set in white cloud on gold ground above and below, the verso with further verses in nasta'liq on marble paper cloud set on a gilt and polychromed illuminated ground
