A lord and lady seated on a raised dais, the lord holding a vina and a lotus flower, a female attendant stands behind, outside in a courtyard are two musicians, set inside colorful palace decorated with geometric designs and with an elegant balcony with a domed roof, yellow painted header with devanagari inscription, set inside gold ruled wide red margins

Cat Note:
This depiction of Pancham Ragini is exclusive to Bundi and Kota schools, for a work dated to circa 1740 with similar placement of the figures and treatment of the balustrade, see MC Beach, Rajput Painting at Bundi and Kota, 1974, p. 80, cat. no. 85.
