AN UNUSUAL HUANGHUALI RECTANGULAR BOX, TRAY AND COVER
17TH CENTURY
Of rectangular form, raised on short feet with integral aprons, the removable center section carved in openwork with confronted chilong and forming the sides of the tray when the cover is removed, the edges set with huangtong fittings, with those on the cover of ruyi- head form and those on the sides left plain
