A silvered, gilt-metal and ormolu mounted, enamel and ebonized tabernacle-shaped timepiece
Possibly Vienna, 19th century, with 18th century watch movement by J.B. Baillon
The square base with canted corners surmounted by a skeleton within a glass bell, raised on a support with four scrolling caryatides and ram's heads flanked by two enamel columns joined by acantus scrolling cornice with two putti and the Risen Christ, above a door inset with a watch movement with polychrome enamel dial, the backplate signed JB tec Baillon a Paris and numbered N.3127, above a drawer to the plinth, raised on harpy feet
