FIRST EDITION of the original narrative which formed the basis for Roman Polanski's The Pianist. The autobiographical account tells the story of a Polish Jewish pianist who survived the Holocaust with the help of Poles and a Nazi officer after he escaped the Warsaw Ghetto. An excellent copy of a fragile book.
