Each powerfully modeled in a spirited pose with right leg raised, head pulled in towards the neck and mouth open, one with saddle and saddle blanket elaborately painted with floral designs in red, black and traces of blue, the other with straw-colored glaze pooling on the base, both with traces of red and black pigment detailing the crisply modeled face, mane, feet and tail
