QAJAR IRAN, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Ink, opaque pigments and gold on card, the central panel with four lines of elegant nasta'liq reserved in clouds on gold ground decorated with polychrome flowers, two triangular cartouches one with attribution to 'Imad al-Hassani, surrounded on two sides with shikasteh in clouds on gold ground surrounded with gold floral border on blue, wide margins with gilt and polychrome palmettes set in scrolling floral vine, in very good condition
