A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE 'BAJIXIANG' BOWL
QIANLONG UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The bowl has deep rounded sides supported on a short, slightly tapering foot. The exterior is painted with stylised lotus flower-heads on leafy scrolls, below the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang.
