The circular silver coin within a reeded ribbon-tied surround, depicting Emperor Peter I in profile, surmounting a domed rectangular foot, inset with a bloodstone matrix engraved with the Cyrillic initials 'V f d F,' apparently unmarked, in the original silk-lined box stamped in Russian 'Fabergé St. Petersburg Moscow' beneath the Imperial warrant
