The reeded and moulded cornice above a pair of panelled doors enclosing five trays, the lower section with reeded waist above two short and three long graduated drawers, flanked by panelled doors, each enclosing two shelves and a hanging rail above further doors enclosing a shelf, on turned reeded feet, the handles and removable side shelves later

A linen press of the same design, featuring the reeded waist moulding and idiosnycratic foot, certainly from the same workshop as the present lot and conceivably from the same commission, was sold anonymously Christie's, London, 24 September 1998, lot 201.
