BY GILLOWS, CIRCA 1881
Each with padded back, arms and seat upholstered in deep-buttoned black leather with ring turned uprights above curved, reeded supports centred by a rosette and with turned stretchers on castors, each stamped twice 'GILLOW', one chair stamped '10102', the other 'C41', castors stamped 'COPE PATENT'
