DATED 1963, THE BASE WITH THE IRON-RED SIX-CHARACTER JIANGXI PORCELAIN COMPANY MARK
The vase is brightly enamelled with an informal scene of Zhou Enlai, Mao Zedong and Liu Shao Qi sitting together at a fruit-laden table, smiling and interacting with four young girls and one boy, the reverse has a black enamelled Chinese inscription Qin qie guan huai zhuo zhuang cheng zhang explaining that the vase was made on June 1 to commemorate The International Childrens' Day.
