MARK OF MARIA SEMENOVA, MOSCOW, 1908-1917
Of traditional form, with raised prow and stepped hook handle, the lower section of the body with lobed ropework cartouches enamelled with varicoloured stylised flowers on alternating green, olive green, red, blue, pale blue and cream grounds, the border enamelled with varicoloured sprays of flowers at intervals on dark burgundy ground, the similarly decorated ladle with hook handle, the kovsh and ladle inscribed with interlaced initials, marked under base and inside ladle; also with later Soviet mark
