[17th Century], 1 volume, fukurotojibon, ink and color on paper, a Nara ehon (Nara picture book) of six different tales of the romantic supernatural with seven single-page color illustrations with figures and settings in the style of contemporary 17th-century Japan, with embossed blue paper wrappers, worn, sewn with tan stitching, in chitsu
Tenko kanbutsu (1771), Anonymous, published in Edo by Yamazaki Kinbei and in Osaka by Kashiwabaraya Sahei, an illustrated treatise on agriculture and industry covering farming, the manufacture of ceramics, transportation, mining, smelting, paper-making, arms making, fukurotojibon, 3 volumes complete, with tan paper wrappers with printed title slips (damaged), sewn in brown stitching, in chitsu
Shincho fukashu: Ogi awase, (1851), a kyoka (light verse) book with two double-page illustrations, one signed by Issai, a pupil of Hokusai, fukurotojibon, 1 volume, complete, in chitsu
Shaka goichidaiki zue (The life of Shakyamuni, illustrated), Osaka, posthumous edition dated Meiji 17 (1884), published by Okada Mohei, recarver Sakakibara Tomoshichi; 6 vols., fukurotojibon, block-printed in black ink, title page inside cover of vol. 1 on yellow paper listing participants of the original [1841; 1845] editions: Katsushika Hokusai, illustrator; Yamada Issai [1788-1846], text; Okada Gungyokudo, Osaka, and Inada Gyokusando, Edo, publishers; in bright orange embossed paper wrappers, with paper title slips printed in black on buff and with respective vol. nos., sewn with green stitching, in chitsu with title in Japanese and incorrect title in English on spine--good impressions a few pages stained and or lightly foxed, some finger soil, some creasing and nicks to covers, title page torn (4)
