A parcel-gilt bronze ornament
Meiji period (late 19th Century), signed Miyao zo (workshop of Miyao Eisuke, Yokohama)
Designed in two colors of bronze and gilt with a mythical figure standing on top of a large dragon fish with raised tail, holding a Chinese zither wrapped in cloth, wearing a headpiece in the shape of fish, flowing robes decorated with mitsudomoe and whorl patterns, the details embellished with gilt, signature on underside of the dragon fish
