A FAMILLE ROSE NINE 'PEACH' DISH
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
The dish has shallow, rounded sides that rise to a slightly everted rim, and is decorated with fruiting peach branches and a branch of flowering crabapple that rise up one side of the exterior and over the gilded rim into the interior where three iron red bats are shown in flight, while two other are on the exterior to represent the wufu.
