A PAIR OF SMALL FAMILLE ROSE-DECORATED PINK SGRAFFITO-GROUND CONICAL CUPS AND A SIMILAR BOX AND COVER
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each cup is delicately decorated on the exterior with flower sprigs scattered on a sgraffito ground of rose-pink color below the gilt rim. The interior is covered in turquoise enamel, and a Jurentang hall mark is on the base. Together with a small famille rose-decorated circular box and cover, 20th century, which is decorated in the center of the cover with an iris and a yellow rose surrounded by a similar rose-pink sgraffito ground repeated on the sides of the box, and with an iron-red Hongxian mark on the base.
