[BRONZES AND COINS CHINESE.] -- Qinding Xiqing gujian. ["Catalogue of the Xiqing antiquities"]. N.p.: Maisong shuguang, 1888.
24 volumes. (422 x 270 mm). Chinese. Profusion of illustrations (some light damp staining to a few volumes). Contemporary Chinese wrappers; housed in four Chinese style silk portfolios (with one additional volume, wrappers torn).
Later edition printed from Japanese plates. A catalogue with 40-juan (chapters) on bronzes and 16-juan on coins in the collection of the Qianlong emperor (r. 1736-1795), compiled over the period 1749 to 1755 and documents 1529 bronzes in the imperial collection. Each entry contains an illustration of the item catalogued, and in the case of the bronze, a description including its dimension and weight. (24)
