The inscription in the temple pediment reads 'tasvir-e bozorgan-e 'alam ke be-vaseteh-ye kardar-e nik ba 'aql-e kamel khod-ra shohreh-ye afaq nomudand' which translates as 'Picture of the great ones of the world who through good action and complete intelligence earned for themselves the fame of the horizons'.
