The first with octagonal twist turn-off barrel, action chiselled with scrollwork and foliage, folding trigger, swelling hardwood butt, engraved iron butt-cap; the second with octagonal twist turn-off sighted barrel, engraved action, folding trigger, walnut butt cut with fish-scale chequering, and white metal escutcheon and butt-cap; the third with fluted finely etched twist octagonal barrel, scroll engraved action, folding trigger, swelling plain ebonised butt, white metal butt-cap with silver-covered hinged trap-cover, each with Liège proof; together with A CONTINENTAL 9mm (PINFIRE) DOUBLE-BARRELLED BOXLOCK PISTOL, CIRCA 1860
