With blued sighted barrel, top-strap signed 'A. FRANCOTTE À LIÈGE', border engraved cylinder and frame, the latter signed 'ADAMS PATENT' on one side and stamped 'ADAMS PATENT 1851' on the other, chequered walnut grip, blued mounts, and bright rammer, reblued thoughout, Liège proof, in fitted oak case, probably original, lined in green baize and with accessories including 'AF' marked iron bullet mould and brass-mounted copper powder-flask
