The bowl of rounded form on short foot, the domed lid with tall three-tiered gold repoussé finial rising to a tapering floral bud, each tier inset with red gems, the box painted in gold overall with a floral lattice between green enamelled palmettes on dark-blue ground, the underside with a gold rosette, some flaking to the enamel, small areas of repainting
2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) high
