Another copy of the Futuh al-Haramayn, also copied by Ghulam 'Ali, and dated circa 1585, is in the Chester Beatty Library (cat. no. 249).

The second text in this manuscript is in prose and also deals with Holy Places. In particular it discusses the Ka'ba and the various constructions and additions up to the time of the Ottoman Sultan Selim II (AH 982/1574 AD - the last year of his reign). The section was also copied in Mecca on 30 Jumada II although it gives neither the year nor the date of the scribe.
