SIGNED MIRZA 'ALI, IRAN, PROBABLY 18TH CENTURY
Black ink on paper, with six lines of black nasta'liq script written diagonally, each long side with quatrains in smaller nasta'liq script, signed in the lower left hand side corner, each line of script in clouds on gold ground, laid down on cardboard with gold illuminated margins with floral motifs, four medallions of blue paper laid down on the margins, some scuffing and light staining
