A CELADON JADE FLARING VASE, GU
18TH CENTURY
The vase is carved in relief with mythical beasts, including a phoenix standing to one side, and three chilong clambering around the exterior. One chilong peers over the mouthrim of the vase. The stone is of an even celadon tone with areas of creamy russet inclusions.
